Mr. Isaac Kimunio lectures in the School of Economics, Kenyatta University. Isaac is currently pursuing his PhD (Economics) degree at Kenyatta University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the same university. Isaac has also done various other courses such as advanced excel, presentation skills and communication skills among others. Isaac has a good working knowledge of Stata and Eviews statistical analysis softwares. Isaac has a strong desire for research and teaching and his research interests are on monetary, financial economics and econometrics. Isaac is also a member of The Financial Economics Association.
Isaac’s work experience includes having worked with Barclays Bank of Kenya for more than six years in various departments. He has also worked as a trainer of trainers with the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics and with Mukuru Slums Development Projects (MSDP). At MSDP, he worked on a project funded by OXFAM UK using mobile money transfer to help the urban poor. This helped him to gain valuable experience in analytical, training, presentation and report writing skills in his career.
