Entry Requirements

Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) of at least Credit I or equivalent from a recognised Institution with a minimum of two (2) years post-graduation work experience in hospitality or tourism related field.  Candidates with a Credit II or equivalent from a recognised Institution and a minimum of five (5) years post-graduation work experience in a hospitality or tourism related field may be considered for the programme.

Credit Waivers

No credit waivers shall be offered for the Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Hospitality and Tourism Management

Duration of Study
The programme shall consist of twelve (12) units to be taken in a minimum of two (2) semesters/sessions

Mode of Study
The programme is available under the following modes of study at our Nairobi Campus: Full time and, where applicable, the programme shall be offered in block release mode where participants will have to be released from work by their employers for a continuous period of time in order to undertake their studies. The block release mode will only be offered to those Institutions or organizations with a previously negotiated and Senate approved Memorandum of Agreement with Kenyatta University.
