  • 17th – 18th October, 2024: Participated in a Workshop at Kyambogo University, Uganda, organized by Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA). The workshop focused on strengthening resilience and social-emotional learning (RSEL) through evidence-based policymaking, engaging policymakers, researchers, and educators to improve educational systems across the region.
  • 4th August, 2022: Received an appreciation from Alupe University Management for my dedication and commitment towards the moderation of examinations for three (3) years in the department of Hotel and Hospitality, School of Business, Economics and Human Resource Development.
  • Collaborative research with Kenyatta University, UNESCO, and USI, University of Lugano, Switzerland; project on training ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism heritage sites which culminated into First Africa IFFTI 2017 conference. And annually event.

Developing External Programmes

  • 2011-2012: Initiated and facilitated the introduction of a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDE) in Hospitality and Tourism which is a bridging course to Master’s degree for International Students.
  • 2017 to date: Heading a technical committee team that is developing academic programs for Koforidua technical University, Ghana.

  • 31st May, 2024: Applied for A FID Grant.
  • 3rd May, 2024: Submitted Expression of interest to the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) for a research entitled: Optimization of Context Specific Solutions among Sexual Gender-Based Violence Victims in Urban Slums in Nairobi, Kenya”.
  • 2024: Principal Investigator for a project funded by IPA on Promotion, production and utilization of Pumpkin value chain among small holder famers in Kajiado North, Kenya
  • 2015: Principal Investigator (Team Leader) for a research project funded by VICRES 0n Evaluation and analysis of Pumpkins (Cucurbita maxima, c. moschata, c. pepo and a gourd lageneria) for Food Security in the Lake Victoria Basin.
